The Director of CEBDS, Robert de Vos, gave a keynote speech  entitled “How our point of view and our attitude towards China, threatens the relationship” in the “Sino Global Discourse” in Berlin in 2011.


Before the opening speech, Robert de Vos also participated in a round table discussion about China with the Honorable Mr. Yaw Shin Leong (Member of the Parliament of Singapore) Dr. Eric-Jan Lane Professor of Asian Policy at the University of Freiburg, Brigitte Wolf Director Manager Management Engineers Dr. Armand Clesse Director of the Institute of European and International Studies of Luxembourg, Dr. Eva Sternfeld Professor of Sinology at the Technical University of Berlin, Dr. Mammo Muchie Professor of the Department of Culture and Global Studies at the University of Aalborg, Professor Jaap de Zwaan from Erasmus University.

Event to honor the volunteer workers of the Sichuan earthquake - organized by the Ministry of Health - Beijing -

The State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SATCM) organized a special event to honor thousands of volunteer workers who helped after the Sichuan earthquake. Robert de Vos Corts was asked to give a speech to support this event.
